What Are Clear Aligners?
Clear aligners are custom-made trays placed over your teeth to straighten them without the annoying metal wires or brackets. To create your custom set, Dr. Freeman will use 3D imaging technology to scan your teeth and gums.
Once you get your clear aligners, you’ll wear them for about two weeks, then come in for another set. The process will continue until your teeth reach the desired positions.
Are Clear Aligners Right for Me?
If you don't want to worry about your misaligned teeth and you don’t want to deal with the annoyances of braces, clear aligners are a great alternative – especially if you’re an adult who doesn’t want to be seen with a mouth full of metal.
While they are removable, you’ll need to make sure you’re wearing them for about 22 hours per day. Treatment time will vary, but it will be much faster if you are diligent with wearing the aligners.
